Please consider supporting Tara Ochman’s re-election to the Board of Education. As a strong and respectable leader of the board in the past, Tara has proven her value as a compassionate, yet smart and sensible decision maker for our schools.

Perhaps its because she is also a compassionate and understanding parent, while at the same time smart and no-nonsense in her approach. Tara brought this same style of leadership when she led the Ox Ridge PTO when I first met her.
She cared deeply about her children’s school then, as much as she does today. With a child still at Ox Ridge School, one at Middlesex, and another at Darien High School, she is engaged as a parent and a board member, and that is exactly what we as parents should want in our town leaders.
She has worked tirelessly on behalf of our children for the past three years, while at the same time providing fiscal responsibility.
I am a former President of the Middlesex Parent Association and a registered Republican who supports Tara, not just because I am the mother of three children, but because I believe she will do the right thing for our schools, our children, and ultimately our town.
