Police: Two Shoplifting Incidents in Three Days, Total Losses Worth $1,611

Two shoplifters walked out of Stop and Shop sometime on Sunday, April 21 without paying for over $1,000 worth of stolen merchandise, according to police.

Two days before, two women and a man left CVS at 964 Post Road carrying stolen merchandise worth more than $500, police said.

Police gave these accounts of the incidents, including accusations not proven in court:

An employee at Stop and Shop in Goodwives Shopping Center told police about the incident there the next day. A total of $1,076 worth of merchandise was taken.

The haul that the trio at CVS walked off with on Friday, April 19, is worth $535, police were told.

The CVS store manager told police on Sunday, April 21, that two female suspects and a male suspect entered the store at 1:04 p.m. The male was seen putting hair products in his coat before leaving; the females left with two large bags over their shoulders.
