Online submissions are now being accepted in an open call to Artists for “In the City,” at Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) from May 23, 2021 to June 20.

This new all media show is open to all artists interested in exhibiting their artwork with a nod to the theme of urban life.

The deadline for submissions is April 23, 2021 and accepted artists will be notified by April 30, 2021.
The chair for the show is Bruce Horan and the co-chair is Joel Flora.

The judge for the exhibition is Amy Simon, owner of Amy Simon Fine Art in Westport. She has worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as the Guggenheim Museum and was an adjunct professor of art history at Adelphi University. Her gallery experience began at the Marlborough Gallery, Inc. in New York City before private art dealing and opening her gallery in 2004.
The opening reception on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. is free and open to the public.
