A motor vehicle was stolen sometime overnight from Friday to Saturday, Aug. 26 to 27, its owner told police on Saturday, according to Captain Raymond Osborne, commander of the field services division.
The vehicle had been parked outside a home on Lynn Court, Osborne said.
Osborne mentioned the theft Monday at a meeting of the Darien Police Commission. The theft was not mentioned in the weekly Darien police news briefing earlier that day. As further information was available, Darienite.com will report it.
