An unlocked 2020 Buick Enclave parked outside a home on Oakshade Avenue was entered sometime overnight from Saturday to Sunday, Nov. 23 to 24, Darien police were told.

According to police:

Two $10 bills were taken from the glove box, along with an iPhone charger valued at $20 and a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses valued at $400.

The victim initially didn’t think anything had been stolen, so didn’t report it to police the incident until Monday afternoon, Nov. 25. The theft occurred at 11 Oakshade Ave.

Police previously announced that during the same overnight period, at 15 Oakshade Ave., a pickup truck was entered and someone went through the glove box, but nothing was reported taken.
