Marilyn Ann Harmonay, 82, passed away on July 18, surrounded by her friends and family.
Marilyn was born to the late Daniel and Jean Hagan on May 12, 1935 in Yonkers, N.Y. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers and from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School.
Marilyn married Richard M. Harmonay in 1956, and they lived together in Hartsdale, N.Y. before relocating to Greenwich in 1964. In 2014, she moved to Atria Darien, where she was socially active and made many new friends.
Marilyn was a beloved wife and devoted mother. She lived her adult life focused on her family, her children and grandchildren. Marilyn is known for her kindness, empathy and generous nature. She was a former member of the Westchester Country Club and of the Turtle Creek Golf Club in Tequesta, Fl.

Marilyn is survived by her five children: Richard Jr., Robert, Kenneth and his wife Isabelle, Kevin and his wife Jackie, and James Harmonay, along with her eight grandchildren Sarah, Robert Jr., Smith, Rachel, James, Jack, Erin and Matthew Harmonay. She was predeceased by her husband Richard and daughter Kathleen Harmonay.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 pm on Monday July 24, 2017 at St. Michael’s Church, 469 North Street, Greenwich, CT.
