Bridge inspection and maintenance work on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich will close alternating left and right lanes between Exits 27 and 29 on Wednesday, in both directions along the 5.1 mile stretch.
Exit 27 is on the Connecticut/New York state border. The lane closures take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the highway, also known as U.S. Route 15, the state Department of Transportation has announced.
UPDATE, 8:17 a.m.: And in Stamford, if you’re near 20 Walter Wheeler Dr. in the South End, it will be closed until 4 p.m. to all traffic, both directions, Stamford Police have announced.
