Kevin Patrick McDermott passed on June 5. He was 63.
He was born June 26, 1954 to the late Bernard and Jane McDermott of Darien.
Kevin graduated Darien High School in 1972. He was a natural athlete who enjoyed playing basketball, baseball and football.
Kevin McDermott, 63, passed away on June 5. His funeral is scheduled for June 14.
His love of motorcycles then led him to graduate from the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Florida. He enjoyed taking long bike rides with friends and collecting and restoring his prized motorcycles.
Kevin’s career was spent in the trucking industry working for the Bothwell families for the better part of four decades.
Kevin is predeceased by the love of his life, Christine Langan and his brother Jimmy McDermott. Kevin is lovingly remembered by his brother, Brian (Josephine) McDermott of Darien, sister, Elizabeth (Salvatore) Sabia of Greenwich, his loving nieces, nephews, countless number of friends and his beloved dog, Lucy Lu.
