Harold James Keena passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 18, 2021, surrounded by his family. He had just celebrated his 86th birthday on July 3.

Harold Keena, 86, passed away on July 3. His funeral will be private.
Born in 1935, Harold grew up in Norwalk, graduating from Norwalk High School in 1954. He served as a Navy corpsman from 1955-1958, stationed in Bainbridge, Maryland and Chelsea, Massachusetts.
After serving in the Navy, he went on to attend Nichols College. In the early ’60s, Harold was self-employed and ran his own delivery service as a distributorship for Pepperidge Farm.
In 1967, he established Mail Delivery of Norwalk, a service to 30 local corporations. He never missed a day of service in 46 years. He will be remembered for his generosity and loyalty to friends and family.
Harold and his wife, Linda, moved from Norwalk to Darien in 1971, where they raised their two boys. Harold was a life-long boater and active member of the Darien Boat Club since 1971. Harold and his family enjoyed many years of vacationing in the Florida Keys. In more recent years, he and Linda wintered there.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Tuchy Keena. He is also survived by his two sons, John (Sarah) of Darien, and Peter (Alison) also of Darien. He was blessed with four wonderful grandchildren, Lauren, Henry, Jennifer and Rebecca. And, he is survived by his beloved golden retriever, Bonnie, who was always by his side.
