A 58-year-old man told Darien police that gifts were stolen out of his SUV overnight July 9 to 10 while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of a house on Rose Lane.
The man said he parked his 2015 Ford Explorer at 11 p.m. and returned to it the next morning at 9 a.m. when he noticed several packages were gone.
The packages were wrapped gifts, incliuding clothing valued at $150 and sneakers with a value of $100.
The SUV had been unlocked.
