Vaccine for the flu — preservative-free and available to anyone over three years of age — is now available at the Darien Health Department!

High dose vaccine for seniors is available.

The cost of flu vaccine is $30, payable by check, cash or ConnectiCare insurance. We also accept traditional Medicare ONLY and do not participate with any of the Medicare Advantage Plans.

To get your flu shot:

Make an appointment with our Public Health Nurse by utilizing the on-line scheduler found at the “Flu Prevention Program” section of the Health Department website.

Come to one of our clinics where no appointment is needed:

At the Mather Senior Center:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 26, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 5, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

In the Town Hall, Room 119:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 17, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • “Vote & Vax” on Election Day, Nov. 7, from 3 to 7 p.m.
