Darien’s annual overnight parking ban went into effect a week ago and continues through the end of March on all town streets, police said in a news release on Monday.

As a reminder, from Dec. 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, the Darien Police Department will be enforcing the Town’s overnight parking ban in an effort to safely and effectively allow public works crews to clear the streets of snow and ice.
The overnight ban is in effect on public roadways between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Vehicles in violation are subject to a $30 fine.
