Calling all High School students in Darien — 2020 Logo Contest!

The town’s 2020 Committee is holding a Logo Contest and all high school students in Darien are encouraged to submit designs.

“This is a great opportunity for high school students because the winner will have their work seen all over town — on letterheads, flags and promotional materials,” said Sarah Lexow Keena, a member of the town’s 2020 Committee who is coordinating the contest. Lexow Keena is also the Museum Educator at the Darien Historical Society.

The design should include the following elements: Darien, 2020 and Bicentennial.

Any medium will be considered (paint, pencil, computer graphics, etc.).

The deadline for submissions Is Jan. 5, and should be delivered to the Darien Historical Society, 45 Old Kings Hwy. North, Darien. The 2020 Committee will vote on the entries and unveil the winning design.

Applicants must live in Darien and be in high school, regardless of the school they attend. If you have any questions, please email Darien2020Logo@gmail.com.
