Luke Robbins, the new director for the 10 & Under Tennis program at Kings Highway Tennis Club, has a master’s degree in social work and had a brief stint as a standup comic. He will be available at information sessions on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Registration Now Open for the Darien Road Race

Registration is now open for the Sept. 13 Darien Road Race, and the first 400 to register get a free t-shirt (details at the bottom of this article). Here’s the announcement from the Community Fund of Darien:

The 36th annual Darien Road Race is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at Pear Tree Point Beach and includes a 10K and 1.5 mile loop. The race will feature “The Finish Line” tent with music, games, food trucks, a dunk tank, sponsor booths and an awards ceremony.
