Members of the VFW will accept the old and used flags for proper disposal at a later date, and have a brief flag ceremony, lowering an old flag and raising a new one.

The Monuments & Ceremonies Commission urges all citizens to please take a look at their flags and think about putting up a new one if theirs is tattered and worn.

In the event of inclement weather, a representative of the VFW will be at Town Hall to receive old flags at the time of the ceremony.
