New York Times-bestselling author Taylor Jenkins Reid will speak in October at Darien Library’ seventh annual Novel Tea fundraiser at Wee Burn Country Club.

Reid is the author of Daisy Jones and the Six, and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Her upcoming book, Carrie Soto Is Back, is arriving this month. Copies of that book will be available for purchase courtesy of Barrett Bookstore.
The event will also include a silent auction with “exclusive items.”
All funds raised from the Novel Tea will be dedicated to resources like new technology, new books and materials, and supporting our programs at Darien Library.

The luncheon will be held at Wee Burn Country Club Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by Page Berger, marketing and events director at Barrett Bookstore.
All funds raised from the Novel Tea will be dedicated to library resources, including new technology, purchasing new books and materials, and supporting all programs and guest speakers.
