Planning a remodeling project? The CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION DEBRIS area at the Darien Recycling Center is for non-combustible materials such as asphalt shingles, concrete, masonry, tile, sheetrock, porcelain, fiberglass and treated lumber.
Many of these materials are recovered for reuse or recycling – e.g., asphalt shingles are ground down and used in paving. Recycling these materials reduces solid waste disposal costs and saves natural resources!
