Debra Ann Tracey, 54, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Saturday June 23 at Bridgeport Hospital.
Debra was born in Bronx, New York on Sept. 19, 1963 to Joan Baigis and John Murphy.
Debra was a Pre-K teacher at the Putnam Indian Field School in Greenwich for 28 years. She taught with enthusiasm and compassion and was passionate about working with children. Debra was a resident of Darien and more recently of Stratford, where she lived with her three children, Kristin, Allyson and Liam, as well as her husband, Peter Gall, and her stepson, Cody Gall.
Debra and Peter Gall were married on May 27, 2006 and renewed their vows for their 10 year wedding anniversary in 2016. They celebrated their vow renewal surrounded by family and loved ones and enjoyed a reception at their home in Stratford.
Debra’s favorite activities always involved her being surrounded by family and friends. She loved to cheer on her children at Irish dance competitions and was perhaps the loudest fan at her son’s soccer games and track meets. She loved being involved with the Irish dancing community and enjoyed watching her children dance with the Lynn Academy of Irish Dance.
