William (Billy) Ray Marquet Jr., a longtime Darien resident and resident of Stamford, passed away on Jan. 21, 2025 in Stamford. He was 60.
William Marquet Jr., 60, passed away on Jan. 21. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
Born Nov. 13, 1964 in Stamford, he was the son of William Ray Marquet Sr. and Lucille (Metraux) Marquet. Billy graduated from Darien High School and was a retired mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, auto and motorcycle restoration, as well as radio-controlled trucks and cars.
Billy also enjoyed cooking and grilling and showed his love through food by often lending a helping hand. He loved traveling to Vermont, North Carolina and Tennessee, as well.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Nancy A. Marquet, as well as his daughter, Rachel V. Marquet, and four cats. In addition to his parents, Billy was predeceased by two sisters, Denise Russell and Michelle Marquet.
