The event will run from 1-6 p.m. Admission is free. Mike was a son, brother and friend, but most of all he was simply a terrific human being. This is why his friends and family joined forces with Shatterproof to shatter the stigma of addiction and to fight the opioid epidemic.

Showdown on the Sound

Come enjoy a fun-filled day for the whole family while making an important difference in the fight against the opioid epidemic. In April 2016, Michael Taylor’s life was cut tragically short due to his struggle with opioid addiction. Mike was a son, brother, and friend, but most of all he was simply a terrific human being, which is why his friends and family have taken it upon themselves to shatter the stigma of addiction and to aid in the fight against the opioid epidemic. By partnering with Shatterproof to raise funds and awareness, we know we can make a difference in this fight. Only a few weeks after the two-year anniversary of Michael Taylor’s passing, his friends and family will gather to share laughter, music, food and friendly competition at this special fundraising event called Showdown on the Sound.
