During the upcoming Paint the Town Purple Campaign (April 23 to 30), the town of Darien will go purple to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter’s upcoming benefit, Celebrating Hope.

The campaign, spearheaded by Darien resident Lisa Koorbusch, will honor the 73,000 people who are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease in Connecticut. Many Darien businesses have pledged their support and will create eye-catching displays in and around their storefronts featuring purple pinwheels and window clings. Paint the Town Purple partners include: Baubles; Beadz Boutique; Darien Sport Shop; Double Exposure Consignment; Everything is Rosey; Folly Design Elements; Frederic & Company; Gofer’s Ice Cream; Green and Tonic; Grieb’s Pharmacy; Grove Street Plaza; Hands on Pottery; Helen Ainson; Kennedy’s Barber Club; Kirby & Company; Nicholas Roberts Fine Wines; Panera; Spree; Sugar Bowl Diner; Sunny Nails; The Toy Box; Tina Dragone; UCBC Bagels and Uncle’s Deli.
