Wallet Reported Stolen from Unlocked Locker at Country Club, Attempts Made to Charge Bank Cards

A man who had just finished a round of golf found his wallet was missing from his unlocked locker, along with the cash, bank cards and identification cards in it, he told police. Darien police gave this further information about the incident:
Sometime before 3:16 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, the man discovered the theft in the men’s locker room at Woodway Country Club, 540 Hoyt St. He had $250 in the wallet. Before a police officer had arrived at the club to take the report from the victim, several attempts to use one or more bank cards already had been reported to the man.
