An announcement for Class of 2017 seniors on the Darien Public Schools website:

Dates for the Class of 2017 are as follows:
- June 30-July 1
- July 21-22
- August 29-31
- September 1-2, 21-23
- October 25-26
You will receive information from Lifetouch about appointments for each sitting until you have had your portrait taken. You can choose any date that is convenient to you but you must have a portrait taken no later than the Oct. 25-26 sitting to be included in the yearbook.
Senior Portraits are formal pictures; T-shirts and hats are not acceptable.
Most boys wear a shirt and tie, and girls generally wear a solid color with a simple neckline.
You must have at least one “head-and-shoulders” portrait shot with a “Blue Moonlight” background.
The basic sitting fee is $25, cash or check payable to Prestige Portraits.
You do not have to order anything, your photo will be included in the yearbook without charge.
