Join our latest Artist on View, Dana Goodfellow, for a reception featuring fine art and good friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15 at Darien Library. An exhibit of her work runs from Sept. 6 through Oct. 20 in the library’s Art Gallery space.

Dana Goodfellow is an award winning painter who works out of her Darien studio. A third generation artist, her works are based on strong compositions, values, and color harmony.

Describing herself as a “colorist”, Goodfellow’s unique ability to blend and harmonize colors was perfected during an earlier career in the fashion industry in New York City.

Within the last 20 years she has won many awards, has been included in juried exhibits, and has presented numerous solo shows in the Northeast.

Her work can be found in private collections throughout the U.S. and has been featured in local publications. She paints both realism and abstract work and teaches at The Rowayton Arts Center.

A member of many organizations she is an artist member of the prestigious Salmagundi Club in New York City, the New Haven Paint Club, the Greenwich Art Assoc., the Art Alliance of East Hampton and the Rowayton Arts Center.
