On about Thursday, March 23, a neon blue BMW with tinted windows drove up to a house in the 200 block of West Avenue, and a man wearing boots and a parka with a fur collar got out and went to the home’s front door.
The man, described as in his 30s, black and about 6 feet in height, told a resident that he believed a piece of mail meant for him had been delivered to the house.
And the resident did, in fact, have a piece of mail delivered to a “Jon Searcy” — and turned it over to the man.
On March 27, three more pieces of mail came to the home, and they were also addressed to a “Jon Searcy.”
The resident called police, who are looking into the matter.
