Police: Man Charged After Throwing Small Object at Someone in Domestic Dispute

A 60-year-old man threw a small object at someone during a domestic dispute late Saturday night, March 27, so he was charged him with disorderly conduct, police said.

Darien police gave this further account of the matter, including accusations not proven in court:

Officers went to a home Holmes Avenue, between Beechwood Road and West Avenue, at 11:48 p.m. after a verbal dispute started.

Police found the man had thrown the small object during the dispute. He was given a misdemeanor summons to appear March 29 in state Superior Court in Stamford. His case has been continued to May 6.
