The Darien Community Association (DCA) Mom’s Morning In program hosts one of their favorites this month, with Les Julian performing at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 20.

Les brings his songs to life with his rubbery storyteller’s face, elastic voice, guitar pyrotechnics, chameleon wit and joy. Les, an award-winning recording artist, professional singer/songwriter/guitarist/family entertainer, has won a four Parent’s Choice Awards and two NAPPA-National Association of Parenting Publications Awards.
Notable Recording and can most recently be heard on the GRAMMY winning compilation CD, “All About Bullies Big and Small.”
The New York Times writes that Les plays “songs to make you laugh and think. His audience laughed, giggled, chuckled and smiled…their heads bobbed…it was like magic!” Les’ delightful selection of original music entertains all ages. Les really is more!!
The DCA’s Mom’s Morning In program is designed for parents, caregivers and grandparents with energetic toddlers/preschoolers. For the 2016-2017 school year, activities are held once a month, and always features some sort of performance or activity, offering youngsters an engaging morning of fun.
Les Julian will perform Friday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m.; reservations are not required. Fees are $10 per child per activity.
