The Darien Police Department wished to advise motorists of a significant disruption to normal traffic flow: Leroy Avenue, between Post Road and West Avenue, will be closed to through traffic during the daytime hours from [Monday to Friday] Aug. 15 to 19, 2016.

The roadway will be completely closed under the Metro North Railroad Bridge as Eversource Gas installs a new gas main in this location. Access to the Leroy West parking lot will be via Squab Lane only.
Officers and Traffic Agents from the Darien Police Department will be stationed in the area to assist with traffic and safety.
