Leonora C. Caputo, a resident of Darien, passed away Saturday, June 26. She was 94.

Lenora Caputo, 94, passed away June 26. Her wake will be on Thursday, July 1, and her funeral and burial will be the next day.
Born on June 15, 1927, in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Clara (Passero) Aide.
Leonora worked as a cook for Courtland Gardens in Stamford. She was a great person, had a great sense of humor, and loved her family.
She is survived by a brother, Michael Aide, and his wife, Margaret, of Stamford; a nephew, Michael F. Aide, and his wife, Leonore, also of Stamford; a great-nephew, Matthew Michael Aide; and several cousins and friends.
In addition to her mother, Leonora was predeceased by her beloved husband, Philip, and a son, Gregory Caputo.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 2, at St. John Roman Catholic Church,1986 Post Road, Darien. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Darien.
