The Noroton Fire Department’s annual block party on Saturday, June 24 features a wide variety of food and beverages, along with live entertainment, raising money for the department’s firefighting activities.

The event which starts at 5 p.m., at the corner of the Post Road and Nearwater Avenue, and admission is free. The fundraiser features a raffle, held at 10 p.m. The drawing for the Raffle will be at 10 p.m. (attendance at the drawing is not necessary to win). Tickets are available on the fire department’s website.
The all-volunteer Noroton Fire Department, established in 1896, will use the proceeds from the block party for training and equipment to ensure the high level of response and service the community depends on.
