The Darien Community Association (DCA) will offer their next financial workshop – “Financial Basics for Young Adults” on Tuesday, April 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Are your adult children well-launched? Join us for an educational workshop on Financial Basics with a focus on young adults.

During this session you will learn more about:

—The importance of goal setting and financial planning

—The basics of budgeting, managing debt and credit, investing and saving

—Good habits for the future

—Different retirement plans and the savings and tax implications they may have on your retirement goals

Instructor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor Karen Goersch of Ameriprise Financial will lead a financial workshop.

Attend with your adult child or encourage him or her to attend on his/her own. A light lunch will be provided. This session will be led by Karen Goersch, CPA, CRPC®, APMA®, Financial Advisor, Ameriprise Financial.

This event is $20 per person, or $10 for DCA members. Prepayment is required by noon on Friday, April 26 and can be made online at the Darien Community Association website, or by contacting the DCA at info@dariendca.org or 203-655-9050 extension 10.

Minimum enrollment is required in order to run this workshop. The DCA is located at 274 Middlesex Road in Darien.
