State Rep. Terrie Wood, together with state Rep. Gail Lavielle, will hold a meeting in Norwalk for constituents to talk about “new taxes, fees and policies that will affect Connecticut businesses,” she announced Tuesday in an email to constituents.

The meeting takes place from 8 to 9 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23 in the Community Room on the first floor of Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave. Wood, a Republican, represents Rowayton and most of Darien in the state House of Representatives.

Please join Rep. Gail Lavielle and me at the Norwalk City Hall on Oct. 23 for an informational forum discussing new taxes, fees and policies that will affect Connecticut businesses; such as minimum wage increases and paid family and medical leave.

I currently serve on the Legislature’s Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committee, while Rep. Lavielle serves as House Ranking Member of the Appropriations Committee.

This event is free and open to the public.
