Christine Burns from Waveny Lifecare Network will come to Darien Senior Center to discuss the role vaccines have in disease prevention as well as their role in decreasing chronic disease over your life span.

Burns will speak starting at 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1. The event is free.

Darien Senior Center is located in Mather Center, accessible from the lower parking lot in the front of Darien Town Hall.

Have Lunch at the Senior Center Before the Event

Chef Judi prepares delicious and nutritious lunches daily for members at the Mather Center. The Café opens at 11:45 a.m., with lunch served promptly at 12 noon.

Reservations are required one week in advance by calling Darien Senior Programs Monday–Wednesday, between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. The menu is available at www.darienct.gov or at the information desk. Cost: $5 per meal — exact cash or check only (payable to DSP or Darien Senior Programs). Advance payment is not accepted.
