Dominick Briganti Sr., 90, of Darien, beloved husband of Raquel Briganti, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 2, at his home.

Dominick was born on Oct. 28, 1933 in Scilla, Italy. After coming to the United States in 1946, Dominick lived in Port Chester, New York until he was 37.
He was a self-made businessman and after following various career paths, Dominick started his own landscaping business in an effort to support his family. 65 years later, Dom’s Landscaping, Inc. is a third generation business.
Dom thrived off the relationships and connections he made with each and every customer and it is ultimately what kept him working until he was 89 years old.
He is survived by his loving wife, Raquel; his son, Dominick Briganti Jr. and Dominick’s wife Penny; his daughter, Fortunata Felicia Veneruso; his additional family: Jesse and Suzanne, Peter and Cheryl, and Michelle Sandoval. He leaves behind his grandchildren; Nicole, Gabbie, Dominick III and Andre Briganti, and Julieanna and Christopher Veneruso. He was pre-deceased by his son-in law, Chris Veneruso.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Jan. 6, 2024 at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness in Dom’s memory.
