YWCA of Darien/Norwalk holds its annual “Dazzling Decadent December” shopping event supporting the YWCA’s Parent Awareness programs, with ticket proceeds and a percentage of all sales on the day, on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Kirby & Company.

It will be a fun, festive evening celebrating the upcoming holiday season and at both Kirby and Company, 1029 Post Road and Kirby Girl, 14 Brook St. Beverages and light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
“Parent Awareness, which has been at the YWCA Darien/Norwalk for over 20 years now, is a series of programs to educate parents in the community about various topics,” said Judy Phillips, president & CEO of the YWCA Darien/Norwalk. “Our goal is to help kids and families thrive.”
Some Parent Awareness events include “What NOT to Teach Your Teen,” a binge drinking prevention presentation, and a school readiness discussion entitled “What is ‘Ready’ for Kindergarten.”
Each ticket purchased will be entered for a chance to win our special Dazzling Dinner Date Raffle package and also entitles each shopper to attend a pre-event wine tasting at Sipstirs.
Tickets are $30 each or four tickets for $100, and can be purchased online or by calling 203-655-2535.
This year’s shopping event also coincides with Giving Tuesday a day designed to amplify the work of our nonprofits.
