Join Darien Library and stylist Melora Johnson of Sustainably Styled on Monday, April 22 at 10 a.m. for “Living Sustainably: The Hidden Cost of Clutter.” Learn how to declutter your homes and lives and discover the negative impact of having “too much stuff.”
Darien Library is calling all teens on Monday, April 22 at 4 p.m. to turn recycled soda bottles into garden fixtures. Teens will learn how to transform their bottles into animal-shaped planters. Keep those old soda bottles out of landfills and take home a cute new plant.
Finally, on Thursday, April 25 at 10 a.m., Darien Library welcomes landscape designer Jennifer Yates to delve into the life of Rachel “Bunny” Mellon and the themes in Mrs. Mellon’s work. A gifted gardener with exquisite taste, Bunny’s legacy lives on today in the Oak Spring Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting nature, ecology, and land conservation.
