Come enjoy books, crafts, and treats like free cider and donuts, a behind-the-scenes tour, a concert and even a special children’s story hour at Darien Library’s open house this Sunday, Oct. 23.
Whether you’re new to Darien or revisiting the library as old friend, you’re invited to meet your friendly neighborhood Librarians and learn about the special events, resources, and programs available at your town’s library.

Books, crafts and treats will be available in the Library Courtyard, Here’s what else is happening at Sunday’s open house:
- Attend a special storytime in the Children’s Library at 3:30 p.m
- Take a tour of the Materials Handling System and see the book-sorting magic with your very own eyes at 3:15 p.m., 3:45 p.m., and 4:15 p.m.
- Cider and donuts will be available to all attendees free of charge at the Café at Darien Library.
- Special Gunsmoke concert at 5 p.m. in the Community Room!
