— an obituary from Edward Lawrence Funeral Home
She accepted the job as director of the Music Education Department at Darien Arts Center. In 2009, Cathy resigned her position and started her own private school of music.
Cathy loved to cook; following in her grandmother’s footsteps, everyone was always welcome in Cathy’s kitchen, and for those who were too sick to come, she would arrive at your doorstep with a pot of soup.
Cathy is survived by her brother, Robert Savoca.
