The Darien Arts Center is introducing three new visual arts classes and instructors for children, aged 3 through 10.

The classes are tailored to specific age groups, where students will create developmentally appropriate art projects using the elements of art and a variety of different media.
Techniques will be explored while students create using pastels, watercolor, ink and more.
Karen Siegel, leads the Art Studio class for 8 to 10 year olds, taking place on Thursdays, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., from Sept. 27 through Dec. 10.
Erika Caputo is teaching Little Artists, for ages 3-5, which takes place on Mondays, from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m., and runs from Sept. 24. through Jan. 14., and Elementary Art Studio, for ages 6-7, which takes place on Wednesdays, from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. from Sept. 26 through Jan. 9.
Fees for classes are as follows: Art Studio class is $300, Little Artists is $300 and Elementary Art Studio is $260.
