Darien Library is offering three talks related to downsizing on the first three Tuesday evenings in April, the library says, “from tips and tricks for decluttering, to getting the right prize for your property, to deciding where to go next.”

Each talk is free, each requires registration and takes place from 7 to 8 p.m. There’s no guarantee you’ll save money, time or your sanity from the advice being offered, but your chances may improve.

Downsizing: What’s My Stuff Worth?

Kelly Daniel, owner and principal of Modern Day Auctions is an entrepreneur and expert in her field, with knowledge and years of experience in art, furniture, collectibles, and real estate. Kelly’s vision was to run a successful, women based full-service auction house that encompasses the next generation of online auctions to best fit the modern needs of her clients.
Kelly co-founded an estate sale company in 2010 and had a vision to go online. MDA was founded in 2018 and prides itself on excellent customer service and a knowledgeable staff with expertise in high-end furniture, art, jewelry, collectibles and more. MDA manages and close over 100 online auctions per year, with an extensive marketing and PR plan for each sale including social media, email marketing and listed in industry publications.
