Beginning Bridge Classes
This is the perfect class for anyone who wants to learn bridge. Absolutely no prior experience required. We will cover the basics of the game and will concentrate on basic bidding and how to play the hand. Instructor: Joan Bergen
Beginning Bridge will be on six Wednesdays: Sept. 18, 25 and Oct. 2, 9, 16, and 23. All classes take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Course fees are $210, or $180 for DCA members. Prepayment is required by Tuesday, Sept. 17.
A minimum number of prepaid students is necessary to run the class, with a maximum of 8 students.
Bridge 5 Classes
This class will discuss slam bidding, weak opening bids, defense, play of the hand and some additional basic bridge conventions. Basic bidding and a good understanding of the game is required. Instructor: Joan Bergen
Bridge 5 will be on six Tuesdays: Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Class fees are $210, or $180 for DCA members.
