‘Haze’ — Documentary for Teens & Parents on Underage Binge Drinking

The Youth Asset Team presents HAZE, Documentary Film Screening and Discussion about Underage Binge Drinking in Honor of Alcohol and Asset Awareness Month. The documentary tells the tragic story of Greenwich, CT native Lynn Gordon Bailey Jr. (“Gordie”) who dies from binge drinking in his freshman year of college. The film also weaves together a collection of interviews by many national experts on the subject of alcohol abuse. The Community Fund, YWCA Parent Awareness, Thriving Youth and Darien Library are co-sponsoring this powerful film on Monday, March 7, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in the Darien Library Community Room. The program is appropriate for parents and high school-aged students.
