‘Westoberfest’ on Oct 13 in Westport Has Beer Tasting, Family Activities, Artisans, Car Rally

More than 16 local and regional breweries will serve up their favorite seasonal craft beer tastings at Westoberfest, which runs from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13 in the heart of downtown Westport on Elm Street. The event will have over 40 tastings (starting at 2 p.m.) from a variety of award winning and innovative breweries, an assortment of fun fall activities, and a location steps away from Westport shops and restaurants. — an announcement from the Westport Downtown Merchants Association
Beyond the exceptional craft beer experience, there will be a designated kids and family area that will feature face painting and fall crafts provided by the Artist Collective of Westport, Westport Historical Society, the Westport Library and Wakeman Town Farm. Earthplace will also participate with a live animal exhibit.
