Owners of Two Vehicles Entered Overnight Had Video Surveillance Cameras, But Didn’t Lock the Cars
|
Owners of two Darien homes where vehicles recently were entered overnight by would-be thieves had made the effort to install video surveillance cameras on their property, but didn’t make the effort to lock their cars. Darien police described the incidents this way:
The first was still in progress at 5:41 a.m., Tuesday, April 11 on Crimmins Road, when a resident at that address called police. When police went to the home, the resident said the suspect had already fled. The surveillance video showed two vehicles leaving the area. A garage door opener was stolen from the vehicle.
