Person to Person (P2P), in partnership with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) and supported by sponsors Cuisinart and Conair, is excited to announce participation in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 11, 2024. — an announcement from Person to Person

Darien residents will be receiving grocery bags from their letter carriers on Friday, May 3 to put food donations in. Leave your food donations by your mailbox by 9 a.m. Your letter carrier and food drive volunteers will pick up and deliver your donation to P2P; or drop off your food donation to P2P Darien, 1864 Post Road, between 12 noon to 4 p.m.
This collaborative effort between all three P2P food pantries and local post offices makes it easy for residents of lower Fairfield County to help restock the P2P pantries. Food insecurity continues to be a significant challenge in Connecticut, affecting approximately 13% of residents who struggle to access sufficient and nutritious food. This includes over 115,000 children who face hunger daily.
