Darien Library Spring Fundraiser: ‘Party on Post’

Darien Library’s Spring fundraiser “Party on Post,” will be a festive street fair starting at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 21, right in the Library courtyard. The party features live music by Chasing Day, silent and live auctions, cocktails, Two Roads, Simply Creative Catering, and LobsterCraft, Hapa and MeltMobile food trucks. Library Trustees Alex Eising, Tara Ochman, Tammy Sload and Sue Weaver, along with Auction Chair Allegra Erickson are excited about the street fair theme and are planning great new auction items and surprises. “We are looking forward to a night full of fun and festivities,” said Tara. “It is one of the best nights in town, as our community comes out to celebrate and supports the idea that libraries are for everyone!”

Darien Library’s Spring fundraiser “Party on Post,” will be a festive street fair starting at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 21, right in the Library courtyard. The library will be CLOSED for regular use that day as librarians prepare for the event. The party features live music by Chasing Day, silent and live auctions, cocktails, Two Roads, Simply Creative Catering, and LobsterCraft, Hapa and MeltMobile food trucks.
