Police: Darien 19-Year-Old Charged After Officers Find Under-Age Drinking at Party

Officers responding to the report of a loud party at 15 Silver Lakes Drive found youths at the scene and empty alcoholic beverage containers on the ground, police said. The 18-year-old host, Paige Spalsbury, was charged with allowing underage youths to have alcohol. Police gave this further account, including accusations not proven in court:
When officers approached the house at about 11:16 p.m., Sunday, May 26, they saw several youths in the front yard run off. The officers spoke with Spalsbury, who told them she just had some friends over to watch a movie. Police found empty alcoholic beverage containers throughout the house.
