At 3:48 p.m., Friday, police were called to the area of the Post Road and Noroton Avenue on the report of a physical altercation between two people. Police were given a description of the people and located them. The victim had “observable minor injuries” that police did not specify. When a 43-year-old Hoyt Street resident chased another person around the house on Sunday, that was a violation of a protective order from a previous domestic incident, said Darien police, who arrested the woman. Police gave this description of the matter, including accusations not proven in court:

Police were called to the home on the 0-100 block of Hoyt Street at 6:19 p.m. When they arrived, the victim told them that the woman was intoxicated and got into an argument with the victim before chasing the victim around the house in an aggressive way, apparently attempting to start a physical fight. Police found that the woman previously had a protective order placed on her which forbid her from harassing, threatening or assaulting the victim. Police arrested the woman on charges of disorderly conduct and violating the protective order. She was released on a $25,000 bond and appeared Monday in state Superior Court in Stamford.
