“A Derby Affair,” a gala benefitting the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut, features the Kentucky Derby live on TV, a 50/50 raffle, a cocktail reception, dinner and the chance to participate in silent and live auctions. The Saturday, May 4 event at the Wee Burn Beach Club in Rowayton will honor U.S. Sen. The annual gala is the biggest event of the year for CGC. A Derby Affair is expected to draw over 250 guests. The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC), a non-profit agency dedicated to improving the mental and behavioral health of children and teens in Lower Fairfield County, will celebrate 65 years of outstanding service to the community at the annual event.
