Jacqueline Pasheluk a resident of Norwalk passed away on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Maplewood in Darien with her loving husband Andrew by her side. She was 79.

Jacqueline Pasheluk, 79, passed away on Jan. 27. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 2.
She was born on Aug. 25, 1944 in Larchmont, New York, to the late Robert Strumpen-Darrie and Bae Carte. She was 79.
Jacqueline attended Ursuline Catholic School in New Rochelle, New York, for grade school through high school. She then attended and graduated from The College of New Rochelle with a bachelor’s degree.
After graduating, she briefly worked for the family business before pursuing her career in advertising. While working in advertising, she met and married her husband, Andrew Pasheluk.
Jacqueline and Andrew were residents of New York, Connecticut and North Carolina. They maintained a residence in Montauk, New York, for 20 years and recently moved back to Norwalk in 2019. While living in Wilton, Jacqueline was active in the Wilton Historical Society. She enjoyed being involved in local organizations. She was also a competitive bridge player.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband Andrew Pasheluk. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael Strumpen-Darrie, and her sister, Jeanne Swift.
A graveside service will be held for Jacqueline at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, in the Saint Francis Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York. Interment will follow.
